A cutting-edge new generation of vessels with both-up encompassing quality and elegant standards is being offered by the Halong Phoenix Cruise. The junk boat offers tourists excellent services to see Halong Bay at a reasonable cost. While keeping traditional Vietnamese Junk design, this budget boat is outfitted to international standards, striking the ideal mix between contemporary conveniences and a nostalgic atmosphere.
The Halong Phoenix Cruiser team started operating cruises in Halong Bay in 2005 as a small division of South Pacific Travel. The actual “Phoenix” branding came later, in 2007.
Halong Phoenix Cruiser launched its first junk boat in 2008 with 10 cabins. Our second cruiser, which has 14 cabins, started its career in 2011. We are happy and proud to launch our high-end day cruise in early summer 2012. Owning our boats allows us to be in control of operations, quality, and safety.
Halong Phoenix Cruiser is more than concerned about protecting the natural beauty of the bay as well as the culture of its inhabitants. We intend to minimize the negative impact of tourism while maximizing its positive impact. Waste management, garbage collection, and education regarding improving environmental awareness are essential to us. In the perspective of protection and management requirements, Halong Phoenix Cruiser is glad that Halong Bay has become a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Halong Phoenix Cruiser is an award-winning tour operator. For 8 years in a row, from 2009 to 2017, we won The Guide’s “best tourism products and services” award. Our quality of services, of catering, of our cruiser facilities, and of our Halong tour itineraries are consistently recognized by both voters and customers.
Our first Halong Phoenix Luxury cruiser belongs to the new generation of junk boats. She has been designed for even more comfort and safety. Our strong experience in Halong cruises makes us confident about soon becoming a top player on the 4-star market.
Our day trip leads you to the famous Halong Bay and through the most attractive areas of Tonkin Golf. Our well-designed cruising route offers you an excellent opportunity to see the most beautiful high points in and around the water of the World Heritage site in a very relaxed way. You witness the tranquil beauty and breathtaking scenery from the sundeck of a comfortably traditional junk, from which you can enjoy the bay landscapes.
AM: We come to pick you up at your hotel from 8h20 to 9h00 for a 2.5-hour bus ride through the country side of the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Water buffaloes, paddy fields (rice transplanting time: February and June), and daily Vietnamese farmer life are on both sides of the way.
PM: Arriving in Halong City around noon, we board a traditional wooden junk and start the cruising trip to the centre of the bay. Fresh seafood lunch (vegetable menu available) is served while the boat is gliding out. Get ready for exotic photos and absorbing the most magnificent natural splendors, limestone bedrocks, and sheer cliffs of tiny islands highlighted with fanciful names: Fighting Cocks (symbol of Halong Bay), Incense Burner, and Thumb. The boat will move to the Luon Cave area, a water cave for kayaking and rowing bamboo boats to discover this area by your own way. After that, keep cruising to the most beautiful Sung Sot cave and relax on Titov Island, where you enjoy swimming on the sand beach. Continue to enjoy this relaxing cruise on the way back to Ha Long harbor; our waiting vehicle transfers you back to Hanoi. Free for transfer back on the new highway express road.
