Ha Giang Loop Jeep Tour

Trip Itineray: Ha Noi – Ha Giang city – Quan Ba – Lung Cu – Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River – Meo Vac - H’mong King’s Palace – Ha Noi.

20h30: Pick up at our office in Ha Noi Old Quarter.

22h00: Departure from Noi Bai airport.

23h30: The bus stops at Tuyen Quangrest area.

03h30: The bus drops you at our office in Ha Giang City. Here we provide a complimetary room for you to rest a few hours before your trip.

06h30: Have breakfast at hotel.

07h30: The tour guide will pick up you for a fascinating sightseeing journey along the Ha Giang Loop:

  • Km0 square. This is the Ha Giang center and the starting point of the Happiness Road that stretches 175 km from the city to Meo Vac town.
  • Bac Sum Pass – the first slope welcoming you to the “Dong Van Karst Plateau GeoPark’’. At this point, we’ll simply drive though.
  • Heaven’s Gate Quan Ba - Stop to capture the picturesque view of the Nui Doi twin mountains at the top of the slope.
  • Can Ty Pass – Reaching an altitude of 1000- 1200 meters above sea level, marvel at the breathtaking and majestic scenery.

12h00: Relish a local food lunch in Yen Minh small town before continuing the trip.

  • Tham Ma pass – Stop at the summit of the slope to enjoy the stunning landscape. To reach this point, you’ll traverse 9 interesting passages.
  • Visit at Sung La valley and Lung Cam – Explore this small village featuring classic Hmong houses, including a visit to Pao’s house.
  • Lung Cu flag pole – Here, you’ll find the beautiful Lo Lo Chai village nestled at the foot of Long Son Mountainwhich is home to the Lo Lo minority people. The village maintains its unique houses and is inhabited by friendly locals, making it a great place to visit on foot.

17h30: Arrive at Dong Van town and check in at the hotel (or homestay).

  • Dong Van district marks the starting point of Vietnam, sharing a border stretching hunderds of kilometers with China. The population mainly comprises various ethnic minorities, including HmongTayNung, Lo LoCo LaoSan ChiSan Diu... among others, with Hmongwith being the predominant group(about 70%). One of the most renowned attractions is the Dong Van old Quarter, historically a significant trading center and maintaining its importance to this day. On Sunday mornings, Dong Van Old Town bustles with a lively market where locals from all around gather to buy and sell goods.

19h00: Ẹnjoy dinner at the Old Quarter, followed by a leisurely walk.

07h00: Enjoy breakfast at local market and savor a coffee. Then embark on the scenic “Happiness Road

(On Sunday mornings, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the local ethnic market in Dong Van town)

08h00:Ma Pi Leng Pass – Situated at an altitude of over 1200 meters above sea level, offering a spectacular mountainous view between Vietnam and China, with the Nho Que river below. A great spot for sightseeing and photography. You can also stop for tea or coffee at Panorama Coffee (self-payment of about 60.000 VND).

09h30: We explore Nho Que river by boat and then visit Meo Vac town.

  • Meo Vac town – Meo Vac is a highland district adjacent to the China border. The district has a sparse population and is predominantly inhabited by the Hmong people, accounting for about 70% of the population. The Hmong people have a custom of living in the high and challenging mountain ranges.

11h00: Visit Hmong King’s Palace – This historically significant site used to be the residence of the most powerful Hmong people and was considered their palace in a distinct Chinese architectural style.

13h00: Enjoy lunch in Quan Ba town.

15h30: Arrive Ha Giang Cityand wait for the Limousine bus to transport you back toHa Noi.

You have two options for departure from Ha Giang City:

+ OPT 1: 16h00 - Limousine bus - 22h00. Arrive in Ha Noi.

OPT 2:  21h00 - Sleeping bus – 04h00. Arrive in Ha Noi.

16h00: The bus will pick you up at the office.

19h30: Have dinner in Tuyen Quang(dinner expenses are self-paid)

22h00: Arrive in Ha Noi.
