Ha Giang, the leading land of Vietnam with a cool climate and fresh air, is an attractive tourist destination. When coming to Ha Giang, you will encounter many majestic landscapes, such as the Dong Van Plateau, Quan Ba Twin Mountain, Meo King Palace, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Lung Cu Flagpole, as well as numerous waterfalls and interesting caves. These attractions will provide you with a wonderful experience.
07h30: Tour guide will pick you up. Immediately after, embark on a sightseeing trip to Ha Giang Loop:
Cross toBac Sum Pass – the first slope welcoming you to the “Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark’’. At this point, we’ll simply drive though.
Heaven’s Gate Quan Ba – Stop to capture the picturesque view of the Nui Doi twin mountains at the top of the slope.
Can Ty Pass – Reaching an altitude of 1000- 1200 meters above sea level, marvel at the breathtaking and majestic scenery.
12h00: Enjoy a local food lunch in the small town of Yen Minh before continuing the trip.
Tham Ma pass – Stop at the summit of the slope to enjoy the stunning landscape. To reach this point, you’ll traverse 9 interesting passages.
Visit Sung La valley and Lung Cam – Explore this small village featuring classic Hmong houses, including a visit to Pao’s house.
Hmong king’s Palace – This historically significant site used to be the residence of the most powerful Hmong people and was considered their palace in a distinct Chinese architectural style.
17h00: Arrive in Dong Van town and check into the hotel.
Dong Van district marks the starting point of Vietnam, sharing a border stretching hunderds of kilometers with China. The population mainly comprises various ethnic minorities, including Hmong, Tay, Nung,Lo Lo, Co Lao, San Chi, San Diu... among others, with Hmongwith being the predominant group(about 70%). One of the most renowned attractions is the Dong Van old Quarter, historically a significant trading center and maintaining its importance to this day. On Sunday mornings, Dong VanOldTown bustles with a lively market where locals from all around gather to buy and sell goods.
19h30: Ẹnjoy dinner at the Old Quarter, followed by a leisurely walk.
07h00: Enjoy breakfast. Afterward, check out of the hotel and proceed to Lung Cu.
(On Sunday mornings, you have the opportunities to visit the local market of ethnic people in Dong Van town)
Lung Cu flag pole – Here, you’ll find the beautiful Lo Lo Chai village nestled at the foot of Long Son Mountain, which is home to the Lo Lo minority people. The village maintains its unique houses and is inhabited by friendly locals, making it a great place to visit on foot.
11h30: Return to Dong Van town for lunch. Afterward, continue driving on the road famously known as “Happiness”.
13h30:Ma Pi Leng Pass – Situated at an altitude of over 1200 meters above sea level, offering a spectacular mountainous view between Vietnam and China, with the Nho Que river below. A great spot for sightseeing and photography. You can also stop for tea or coffee at Panorama Coffee (self-payment of about 60.000 VND)
14h30: We explore Nho Que river by boat and then visit Meo Vac town.
16h30: Arrive at Pa Vi village in Meo Vac and check into the homestay.
07h00: Enjoy breakfast and check out of the homestay before returning to Ha Giang city. Enroute, you have the opportunities to visit:
Meo Vac town – Meo Vac is a highland district adjacent to the China border. The district has a sparse population and is predominantly inhabited by the Hmong people, accounting for about 70% of the population. The Hmong people have a custom of living in the high and challenging mountain ranges.
(on Sunday mornings, they gather to trade and meet at Meo Vac town market)
13h00: Have lunch at Mau Due small town. After we’re driving go to Du Gia village. Then continue the trip:
Mau Due View point.
Lung Ho Pass.
16h00: Arrive homestay check in. After you’re walk around the village or go to the small waterfall swim and nearby relax.
19h00: Have dinner at homestay and sleeping here 1 night.
07h00: Enjoy breakfast at the homestay. Afterward, you can explore the village.
Du Gia Village is a small peaceful village of Tay people. The village boasts old houses on stilts, friendly people, beautiful rice fields, and a serence atmosphere, making it an ideal for a leisurely walk.
09h00: Check out of the room and return to Ha Giang city. En route you can visit:
Duong Thuong Valley.
Thuan Hoa Pass.
13h00: Enjoy lunch in restaurant.
15h00: Arrive at the Ha Giang city office and for rest with some welcome drink before bus pick up to Ha Noi.
16h00:Limousine bus pick up to come back Ha Noi.
22h00. Arrive in Ha Noi.
