Tour Itinerary & Price

08h00: The tour guide picks you up at your hotel in Ha Giang City. Then driving to Hoang Su Phi.

If you are from Hanoi or Sa Pa, we have a sleeping bus that picks you up at 19h30 the night before.

12h00: Arrive at the homestay and have lunch at Thong Nguyen Village in Hoang Su Phi. And then check in to the room to relax.

15h00: Our tour guide takes you to visit and admire the rice fields, admire the sunset, and admire the surrounding villages. The village of the Dao people, with its ancient bamboo trees, is particularly noteworthy.

  • The main terrain of Hoang Su Phi is high hills and mountains; agricultural cultivation still depends on nature. Therefore, the terraced fields here are the most beautiful in the months of the year, such as the season of water pouring (the season when people get water for rice cultivation). April, May, September, and October are the rice seasons every year.

18h30: Enjoy your dinner in the homestay. After your spare time, meet local people.

06h30: You wake up early to go with the tour guide to watch the sunrise, catching the first rays of the sun shining on the terraced fields in this peaceful countryside.

The main terrain of Hoang Su Phi is high hills and mountains; agricultural cultivation still depends on nature. Therefore, the terraced fields here are most beautiful during specific times of the year, particularly during the water pouring season (when people collect water for rice cultivation). April, May - September, and October are rice seasons every year.

07h00: Have breakfast at the homestay. Thereafter, the group continues the trip to visit Ban Phung village steppe. One way we stop and visit some viewpoints is at Ban Peo, Ban Nhung village, etc.

10h30: Arrive in Ban Phung village, walking tour of local villages (as ethnic group people: La Chi, Nung, Tay…) and enjoy the wonderful scenery of terraced fields.

12h00: Return to the local restaurant for a lunch stop.

14h00: Visit and take pictures at Suoi Thau valley. Then continue the trip to return to the homestay in Thong Nguyen village.

Suoi Thau Valley, situated approximately 5 km from Coc Pai town in Xin Man district in the west of Ha Giang province, boasts an altitude of over 1200 m above sea level and spans more than 90 hectares. Its stunning scenery draws in visitors. The valley boasts a unique blend of wild nature, rustic charm, and majestic grandeur.

17h00: Arrive back in the homestay, relax, and have dinner.

18h30: Enjoy dinner at the homestay. After free time and sleep, here is one more night.

07h00: Have breakfast at the homestay.

08h00: The tour guide and local easy rider pick you up by motorbike and continue the trip to visit the viewpoint at Chieu Lau Thi.

09h30: Arrive at Chieu Lau Thi and embark on a short trek of approximately 1.5 km to reach the stop.

The Chieu Lau Thi stop is 2.402 meters above sea level, so this is a great place for sightseeing.

12h00: Return to homestay; check out room.

13h00: Enjoy lunch in the homestay, and after that, get in the car and go back to Ha Giang City.

16h30: Arrive at the Ha Giang city office to rest and wait for the bus pickup to Ha Noi.

18h00: The sleeping bus picks you up to come back to Ha Noi.

(If you go to Sa Pa, the bus picks up at 20h00.)

23h00: Arrive at the bus office at Ha Noi Old Quarter. The journey has concluded.

You Will Visit

Hoang Su Phi (Hoàng Su Phì)
Its name, Hoàng Su Phì or Hoàng Thụ Bì, means "the yellow bark" in the Hmong language. It indicates the woods of weeping cypress, which is a local specialty.

Xin Man district has a complex terrain, located in the upper Chay River mountain range, so it is mainly hills with steep slopes and divided by many streams.
